  Tomy Rodriguez empezo a estudiar la guitarra con su hermano mayor Armando que tambien lo motivo a estudiar musica seriamente. Comenzo sus estudios de violiín , solfeo y teoria con Mr. Pardo en Camaguey, Cuba y continuo con Alberto Romaguera. Es a este es a quien considera su inolvidable mentor. Con su hija Ester Romaguera T. Rodrigues estudio la tecnica de canto.
  
  Aqui podemos escuchar a Tomy cantando y tocando su guitarra con una habilidad que nos recuerda a aquellos trovadores antiguos. Tomy Rodriguez es un verdadero trovador espiritual de

  Tomy Rodriguez was introduced to the guitar by his brother Armando who also encoradged him to pursue the study of music seriously. He began to study violin,solfeggio and music theory with Mr. Pardo in Camaguey. Later, he continued with Alberto Romaguera whom he considers his mentor. T. Rodriguez also studied voice technique with Romaguera's daughter Ester.
